How do I make that happen?
A phased-approach based on my 20+ years of experience as a writer allows me to dig deep into your background, lived experience, and expertise, getting to know what sets you apart from others in your industry and how your message will help your readers.
When I was a journalist, my stories appeared in many publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Associated Press, The New York Times, and American Way magazine, the largest in-flight magazine in the country. I’ve covered topics as varied as infection control, stool transplants, picky eaters, how to market to fast-growing demographics, homelessness in New York City, and why certain dogs were acting skittish on a certain patch of sidewalk in Manhattan. (Hint: They were getting shocked.) In my spare time, I enjoy reading, fostering dogs, and venturing off the beaten path.
People’s stories are what shapes how we see the world. Yet so many voices are missing, including those of women and immigrants. It’s about making the invisible feel seen and drawing a more accurate picture of reality. This is how we can truly change the world.
A story clearly told will be something that resonates with readers and makes a mark.
By following my natural curiosity, I help my clients deepen their stories and fill in the gaps.
I’m always on the lookout for juicy ideas, concepts, and stories. They’re the ones most likely to captivate or fascinate readers.
